There’s just nothing sweeter than a surprise proposal! And it’s even more exciting to be the one behind the camera capturing such a special moment. These surprise proposal photos at Kerry Park in Seattle were so beautiful, and it was so much fun to plan with Andrew about how it was all going to go down! Kerry Park has stunning views of Seattle and the surrounding water, so it was the perfect spot for a romantic surprise proposal!

Kristi & Andrew’s Surprise Seattle Engagement Photos at Kerry Park in Seattle

I first met Andrew and Kristi at a conference where I was photographing this summer. They were visiting Seattle from Arizona for the conference. I was approached by Andrew at the conference about photographing his surprise proposal to Kristi. And of course, I said yes! He knew he wanted to do it on this particular trip because Kristi wouldn’t suspect anything since it was a work trip. Over the time of the conference, Andrew and I came up with a game plan and a location that would work best for the proposal. We decided on Kerry Park since it had great views of the water and of downtown Seattle.

The day of the proposal came and I had to be in incognito mode to make sure Kristi didn’t notice me or recognize me. When it came time for the proposal, Kristi was completely surprised and did not expect it at all. Plus the ring that Andrew had picked for her was stunning!! It was such a stunning summer day in Seattle as was perfect for a proposal!
